Natural Childbirth Education - "Happy, satisfied customers"

Childbirth Classes are not just for those couples planning to give birth at home. No matter where families choose to deliver their baby, everyone can benefit from these down-to-earth classes.

A teacher who believes in women’s natural ability to give birth, can bring a lot in the way of insight, information, and encouragement to expectant parents. Meredith incorporates a little bit of everything into her interesting and lively discussions.

Classes will cover; physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual preparation for the birth, overview of the labor and birth process with focus on keeping it normal, immediate postpartum period, breastfeeding, massage for labor, coping skills for labor, use of water in labor, newborn care, and so much more.

The couples may do some artwork, watch birth movies, hear stories and get helpful hints from couples who have already had their babies and have returned to class to share, and practice massage and other labor easing techniques in class.

Each class takes on a life of it’s own as Meredith personalizes the curriculum for her participants. Many couples have benefited from these dynamic classes, which run for six weeks and meet once a week. Call or email for class times and locations.

Cost is $250 per couple and includes book and art supplies.
